Join Tim Male, vice president of conservation policy at Defenders of Wildlife, on his investigation to see what remains of response and recovery efforts down on the oil-polluted Gulf coast.

In Part One of a video series, Tim grabs a shovel and gets his hands dirty in search of toxic oil that has eluded any cleanup process outside Grand Isle, La. The findings are not encouraging.
